Get out on the water.

The North was made for boating. Kayaks, canoes, fishing boats, paddleboats, pontoon boats... rent one of ours, or bring your own. Get to know our lake up close and personal.

Walk it off.

Hike your stress away. Thousands of acres of crown forest, with trails leading everywhere and nowhere. Find some old growth white pines, meet a rabbit, watch a moose. Exercise your legs. Breathe some fresh air for a change. Lose your tension... and find yourself.

Take the plunge.

Dive into our lake and play. Paddle on our unsupervised beach or strike out for the swimming raft. We have pool noodles you can use, or bring an inflatable to float on. Nothing beats a cool swim on a hot day.

Walk on water.

In winter Herridge Lake freezes to a depth of over two feet. The snow can get even deeper than that. Time for winter sports... like cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Who says you can't walk on water? Rent one of our comfortable cottages, and our frozen lake and snow-filled woods become your playground. Then warm up by the fire in the guest lodge.

Fish through the ice.

If you love ice fishing, we've got a frozen lake for you. Bring your own ice hut and try your luck. Rent one of our cottages so you can be comfortable when you're not fishing. Warm up by the fire and swap fishing stories in our guest lodge.

Fly over snow.

Snowmobiling is a rush beyond compare - the closest you can get to flying without leaving the ground. Use Lake Herridge Lodge and Resort as your base camp – rent one of our comfortable cottages and explore miles of groomed and ungroomed trails in the Temagami wilderness. Or stay overnight with our Snowmobile Special, including dinner, a night in one of our cottages, and breakfast. Scroll down for details.
